Where exactly is The Beach House at Saratoga?
We're located on Saratoga Beach, on the east coast of Vancouver Island — about 20 minutes north of Courtenay and a scenic drive from the BC Ferries terminals at Nanaimo and Comox.
Can I book directly?
Yes — and you'll save. Direct rates are always our lowest, with no service fees and a real person on our end if anything comes up.
Are pets allowed?
Select units are pet-friendly. Just let us know when booking and we'll match you with the right townhouse or villa.
What's included in each unit?
Full kitchens, in-unit laundry, private patios, fire bowls, fast Wi-Fi, smart TVs, premium linens, and direct beach access. Most units have ocean views.
What's the difference between Townhouses and Beachfront Villas?
Ocean View Townhouses are multi-level with elevated patios and panoramic views. Beachfront Villas are single-level with direct, steps-to-the-sand beach access.
How far is it from Vancouver or Seattle?
From Vancouver: ferry + ~2 hr drive. From Seattle: ~5 hr drive plus ferry. A perfect long-weekend escape.
Is there ski access nearby?
Yes — Mt. Washington Alpine Resort is about 45 minutes away. Ski mornings, beach afternoons.
What's your cancellation policy?
Flexible cancellation up to 14 days before arrival for a full refund. Within 14 days, we'll work with you on dates or partial credit toward a future stay.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes — free private parking for one vehicle per unit, right at your door.
What's the closest airport, and how do I get there?
Comox Valley Airport (YQQ) is just 25 minutes away. Victoria (YYJ) and Nanaimo (YCD) are also options, both connected to Vancouver Island via short flights or BC Ferries from the mainland.
